It’s August! Every year when August rolls around, summer doesn’t seem so unbearable to me anymore and I can see the end in sight. I know some people love summer but I love fall and winter because in the desert my fall and winter are basically everyone else’s summer. So now that it’s not incredibly hot, I’m dreaming of all the beanies that I can make for this fall. Here’s my top 10 favorite list!
The Kyler Beanie by Crystalized Designs. Simple and perfect for the boys! And Crystal’s little guy is super handsome!
The Vortex Hat by Glamour4You has an awesome stitch construction and I think I need one in all possible color combinations.
The Kirsten 4 Piece Set by BrianaK is a lovely addition to the winter wardrobe.
Daniel Pink Designs’ Mystic Beanie is a fun, textured hat for winter. It makes me want to go skiing!
I love the pop of color in this Isabella Beanie by Crystalized Designs.
The Retro Ripples Hat by Glamour4You has great wavy stripes to add some dimension.
The CityScape Skull Cap by Glamour4You will complement any outfit. I must make those matching gloves as well.
The Affinity Beanie by Crystalized Designs has a really lovely shell pattern and there is also a matching scarf.
I am always amazed at the surface crochet on the “Perfectly Plaid” Beanie by A Crocheted Simplicity.
The Ethan Beanie by Crystalized Designs is another cool hat for boys. I’m off to plan my color combinations now!

Happy Crocheting!
