Star Stitch Tutorial and Patterns to Practice

The star stitch is one of the most beautiful and unique crochet stitches around. It yields so much texture and variation in design that it has become one of my favorite stitches. I’ve included a tutorial for you, in case you are not familiar with the stitch. There are several slight variations of the stitch so always refer to your pattern for precise instructions. Each pattern will be fairly similar to this tutorial.

Now that you are familiar with the star stitch, you can practice your new skill with these fabulous patterns below. I have worked all but two of these myself and they really are top notch. If you are anything like me, this will become your new favorite stitch!
