Have you tried this (fabric) yarn?--You should!

The challenge over at Design Wars this week features Red Heart Cordial. It’s a new line of yarn that has the look of paracord but the feel of yarn. It is great for many different kinds of things, baskets, hangers, even a baby-carrier! I have found Cordial at my local Joann’s and it is always available online from Red Heart. Cordial comes in 62 yard, 3.5 oz skeins. What will you make with it?
Julie from Gleeful Things made this lovely Beachcomber Basket. I love the neutral colors of Cordial that she used and it is such a fun and functional basket.
How fun is this? Sonya from Blackstone Designs made these Mock-rame Hangers. You could have a fun summertime backyard with this pattern!
Daniel from Danyel Pink Designs made this Babywearing Doll Carrier for her daughter. I’ve made one too and my little girl loves hers! It’s a nice sturdy, yet soft yarn so it works great for this pattern.
I hope you enjoy this yarn as much as our Design Wars friends and I do. Let us know what you plan to do with it in the comments.
Happy Crocheting!

How do you join strands of this type of yarn, just knot it?
