Classic Crochet Projects
July 9th, 2015
Shawls are some of my most favorite projects to crochet. I find them incredibly calming (which I need because I have 4 kids). Light yarn and a lovely stitch pattern clear my mind and relieve my stress. So I think it’s time for a shawl Friday Face-off!
Edit: Congratulations to Annelies Baes! Her Wavelet Shawl won this week’s Friday Face-off. Use coupon code TCC50 for 50% off the pattern through February 21st.
If you are not familiar with “Friday Face-off”, this is how it works. We choose two themed patterns and put them to a vote on our blog on Fridays. On Saturday morning, the votes are tallied and the winning pattern is 50% off through the weekend! This post will be updated on Saturday morning with the winning design and the coupon code.
You may have seen this feature on Happilyhooked.com but we have now partnered with them to have the Friday Face-off on The Crochet Cafe!
This week’s patterns are the Wavelet Shawl by Annelies Baes and the Higher Power Silk Prayer Shawl by Becky Dirlam. Click the photos below to take a look on Ravelry and add the patterns to your favorites while you’re there.
Happy Crocheting!
