Friday Face-off: Lacy Scarves

By on February 2, 2016

There’s still a bit of a chill in the air but Spring is right around the corner! So why not create a beautiful lacy shawl or scarf that you can use through the Spring? Let’s have a Friday Face-off with these two gorgeous lacy scarves/shawls.

**Update** Congratulations to ACCROchet for winning this week’s Friday Face-off! Her Sorbet Shawl is now 50% off! You can use code TCC50 for 50% off through the weekend.

If you are not familiar with “Friday Face-off”, this is how it works. We choose two themed patterns and put them to a vote on our blog on Fridays. On Saturday morning, the votes are tallied and the winning pattern is 50% off through the weekend! This post will be updated on Saturday morning with the winning design and the coupon code.

You may have seen this feature on Happilyhooked.com but we have now partnered with them to have the Friday Face-off on The Crochet Cafe!

This week’s patterns are the Sorbet Shawl by ACCROchet and The Classic Cowl by HanJan Crochet. Click the photos below to take a look on Ravelry and add the patterns to your favorites while you’re there.

They’re both pretty, but my vote actually goes to the “Classic Cowl”. it’s more versatile than the shawl.

I like them both, I believe the cowl is more versatile, in my opinion
