DTR (Double Treble Crochet Stitch) Tutorial

I love learning new crochet stitches and each week I am going to bring a new one to you, you may know the stitch or it may be one you have never tried before, but follow along and lets learn something new! Each tutorial will include a photo tutorial, video tutorial and a downloadable photo tutorial pdf similar to my patterns.

Lets Start the Get Hooked Crochet Series!!


Double Treble Crochet Stitch (DTR): Downloadable PDF Photo Tutorial

Yarn over three times, insert the hook into the stitch, yarn over, pull up a loop (you have 5 loops on your hook). Yarn over, pull through the first two loops (you now have 4 loops on your hook). Yarn over, pull through the next two loops (you now have 3 loops on your hook). Yarn over, pull through the next two loops (you now have 2 loops on your hook). Yarn over, pull through the last 2 loops. You have now completed a Double Treble Crochet Stitch.
