16 Free Accessory Patterns

These days, I am totally crushing on Knit Picks Chroma Fingering yarn! The colorways range from bright and bold to subtle and serene. With its dreamy, long color changes and the vibrant color palette, you are sure to find a favorite, or three or four. They even just released some new colorways and so I picked up some of the new and some of my old favorites as well. Chroma is a fingering weight yarn but is also available in worsted weight! The fiber content is 70% Wool, 30% Nylon and it comes in 100 gram balls of 396 yards. There is so much super soft yarn to enjoy in each ball! My favorite patterns to use with self-striping yarn are lacy, openwork designs with simple stitches so the beauty of the yarn shows through. The Chroma Shawl by Em’s Corner ended up being the perfect pattern to showcase this yarn! I chose the rainbow colorway “Carnival” which is so cheery and sunny. It brightened my day, even when I was crocheting at night! To be honest, the only downfall to working with Chroma is that I crochet slower. I have to stop ALL.THE.TIME to admire and enjoy the color transitions. I can’t help it! Chroma is intoxicating! Have you tried it yet?
Happy Crocheting!

Probably about a DK, it’s pretty thin to start with.
